How Utilize leveraged the Social Integration Platform (SIP™) to tackle a critical challenge in social support management.

The Challenge
The “STIRI-ZO” initiative, under the TEBA program, aimed to implement complementary support actions for vulnerable social groups across four municipalities in the Regional Unit of Xanthi. The program included psychological support sessions, nutritional guidance, fitness activities, empowerment workshops, and much more.
However, the real challenge did not lie solely in the provision of these services, but in the coordinated management of a project involving:
- Hundreds of beneficiaries
- Multiple service providers across different activities
- A strong need for transparency, personalization, and progress tracking
- Lack of a unified tool for organization and evaluation
The social service departments required a modern way to organize all project operations with precision and security.
The Solution
Utilize’s Social Integration Platform (SIP™) provided the essential digital infrastructure to meet these demands. As it handles sensitive personal data, SIP™ was designed with full GDPR compliance, ensuring the security and privacy of beneficiaries’ information.
SIP™ did not replace social services—it enhanced them with an integrated system for organization and monitoring.
Using the platform, the municipalities managed to:
- Digitally register and monitor all beneficiaries
- Set participation criteria and create eligibility lists
- Enable online appointment scheduling (e.g., with psychologists)
- Communicate directly with citizens and collect additional data
- Track real-time progress through dashboards and KPIs
- Collect qualitative and quantitative data for performance evaluation
The Outcome
The implementation of SIP™ led to clear, measurable results:
✅ Over 500 beneficiaries were registered with complete profiles
✅ 85% reduction in application processing time
✅ Full visibility and documentation of social impact
The digital environment supported social workers by freeing up resources and boosting their overall efficiency.
